Beats – Apple brand – has officially announced the new “high performance” wireless “Powerbeats Pro” earphones. Up to 9 hours of battery life, charging case, “Hey Siri” compatibility, volume and playback controls on both headsets.
The second generation of Beats Powerbeats Pro headsets that will be on sale starting next May for $ 250*.
Like the AirPods 2, even the new Powerbeats Pro integrates the H1 chip which, in addition to allowing greater efficiency and more stable connectivity, also allows you to call up the Apple voice assistant by “Hey Siri” command when connected to an iOS device.
Powerbeats Pro are also resistant to water and sweat with adjustable supports to ensure even more comfort and stability and offer physical keys for better interaction. In practical terms, Apple seems to place these headsets in the field of those who practice sports, an area where the Airpods are certainly weak.
The Powerbeats Pro have sensors that can detect ear placement to start or pause music. The volume can be adjusted using the appropriate buttons on each earpiece. There is also a button on the side that allows you to reject an incoming call with a long press. The Powerbeats Pro are 23% smaller and 17% lighter than the Powerbeats 3.
The new Powerbeats Pro are available in ivory white, black, navy blue and moss green.
