IBPS PO 2019
IBPS – The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is an autonomous body that recruits candidates for public sector banks in India, other than the SBI. The IBPS conducts five exams every year out of which two are for probationary officers, two for clerical levels and one for hiring the specialist officers.
Earlier each public bank used to release separate notifications and conduct different exams for hiring the candidates. But the new system of recruitment under the IBPS has come as a major relief for the bank job aspirants as now they do not have to apply for each exam separately. The aspirants are required to pay the application fee only once, at the time of registering for the IBPS PO test, which saves them a lot of money.
